Just spent a week at this lovely site, very friendly owners, extremely helpful too, had a few 'first timers' with caravans visiting at the same time, always ready to help or assist with the setting up etc.
Very clean amenities, 50p shower charge pretty reasonable as are the pitch fees.
Had, in the past, driven past the site, thinking it was not a particularly good site, HOW WRONG I WAS!, will consider returning for another 'break' in the future, without hesitation, thanks to Keith and Caroline, brilliant site.......5STAR+

Stayed at this lovely well kept site over Easter 2018. Unfortunately, the terrible weather resulted in the site becoming waterlogged and a quagmire of mud. We had to abandon our trip a day early because the weather and the site was becoming worse. However, big thanks to the owner Keith and his friend with the land rover who towed us out of the mud. This is a lovely, clean site with friendly helpful owners in a good location and would thoroughly recommend in dryer weather. Do hope the site doesn't take too long to get back to normal.

Just returned from a relaxing break and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Keith and Caroline are very welcoming and helpful and have a very nice site with spacious well kept pitches, the facilities are clean and would recommend.

First time staying at this camp site
.It is exceptionally clean and you have everything you need.It was very relaxing so much so we didnt feel like travelling anywhere we were quite happy to stay put.We will be going back again at some point.Thank you Caroline and Keith you should be very proud of what you have achieved.

First time camping for almost 2 year old Bertie and the first time I have been for 25 years. Planned a weekend at the coast for the hot weather so a late camping booking for just one night was in order.
Having done an internet search, I narrowed it down and decided to give Country Meadow a go for our tester camping trip.
We arrived 3pm and were greeted by welcoming hosts who gave us all the necessary info and led us to our pitch.
A little play on the park made me think that a few more play things might not go a miss, there's only so long a young one can play with the boot house and swing but it was just enough to keep him happy for a while before bed.
We got to sleep ok, the park was quiet and friendly so no problems there. It was at 3:48am where I was awaken by the cockerel next door and was for the next few hours. Nothing that could be blamed on the hosts but might put me off returning.
Great clean site. Would recommend if someone rids the cockerel!
